Present Tenses

Present Simple

Habits, routines, permanent states, and timetables.
Ex: The train leaves at 8:00.

Present Continuous

Actions happening now, temporary situations, or fixed arrangements.
Ex: I am meeting her tonight.

Past Tenses

Past Simple

Completed actions at a specific time in the past.
Ex: I went to Paris last year.

Past Continuous

Actions in progress at a point in the past or background info.
Ex: I was sleeping when you called.

Past Perfect

An action that happened before another action in the past.
Ex: She had already eaten when I arrived.

Perfect & Future Tenses

Present Perfect

Experience, recent events, or states starting in the past continuing now.
Ex: I have lived here for 10 years.

Future Simple (Will)

Predictions, promises, spontaneous decisions.
Ex: I think it will rain.

Future Perfect

Actions finished by a certain time in the future.
Ex: By 2030, I will have graduated.
